Just bought an o4 Grand Cherokee Limited
It has 50K miles and fully loaded with the exception of the navigation system
Options include V6 motor cd/tpe player 10 disc CD changer Leather & heated seats Heated outside mirrors Power Adjustable pedals Sunroof overhead compas & climate display My question is, since this is my first 4 X 4 is there anything I should be weary of or look out for concerning this vehicle? Thanks

Re: Just bought an o4 Grand Cherokee Limited
The GC needs to have the rear diff fluid changed like clock work to keep the pinion from whining and for smooth operation.

Re: Just bought an o4 Grand Cherokee Limited
Got my 04 Overland with just under 50K on it. I have 72K on it now, and no problems at all, except for the heated seat recall. As with any vehicle, or machine for that matter, proper maintenance and servicing are essential to keeping it running problem free. You can do it yourself using the suggested maintenance schedule in the owner's manual as a guide, or pay the big bucks to the dealer to do it for you. I only take it to the stealer when it is something that I cannot do because it requires special tooling or test equipment.
