The WS is supposedly quiet, so I'm not too worried about that... I guess emissions-wise.
I read about people getting pulled over because of their exhausts being illegal, isn't there some certification that comes with 50-state legal performance parts?

the paper work that comes with exhaust systems should say something about it being 50-state legal or not. if it does, keep the paper work in your glovebox. if it doesnt come with paper work but says on the box that its 50-state legal and you get pulled over and ticketed, take the box with you to court to show the judge. it should get dismissed. but if you throw the box away and/or paperwork away as well...well then you are screwed....LOL

Well I called Apex and the WS does not come with paperwork or anything shows that its state-legal. Its quiet and a lot less flashy than a lot of aftermarket exhausts, so I'm hoping I should be ok.

a cat back exhaust doesnt effect emissions. the catalytic converter is the emissions part. the exhaust has nothing to do with emissions.
