F250 Acceleration Problem
have a f250 that was running fine until I got on the freeway then it started bogging down when accelerating. Thought it might have been the alternator (it had a dead battery) but replaced the battery and it starts fine but now it bogs down when trying to give it any fuel. When I pulled the old filter the fuel inside was brown and had small chunks of crud falling out. Replaced the fuel filter but still no luck.

Re: F250 Acceleration Problem
Contaminated fuel tank. Someone may have dumped dirt/sand in your tank. Also may have to replace the "in tank" filter which means dropping the tank to get to it.

Re: F250 Acceleration Problem
that was my thought about the sand and dirt, but it has a locking gas cap. But I think that is the problem as far as just dirty. Do you think I am going to have to pull injectors or anything or just get the tank cleaned out and then put clean fuel in and maybe some injector cleaner?
