considering a 2002 Acura TL 3.1

I'm currently looking for a car. Just seen a dealer selling a 2002 TL 3.2 with 96,129 miles. They are asking $13,495.

I'm sure I can get the price down so I'm wondering is the TL worth looking at? Is it a car that's going to be more of a problem than anything else?

Re: considering a 2002 Acura TL 3.1

I don't know about the 2002 models but I have a 2000 Acura 3.2 TL and am very satisfied with its performance. It has a transverse VTEC engine and really zips along fairly well. I bought it brand new and made sure that I abide by the maintenance requirement. Since you are looking at one with 96K miles, I'll be very particular regarding the kind of maintenance it had. If the esthetics (clean interior, uphostery and body in good shape) and you really have your heart set on this car, I'd have a reputable mechanic check it out just to be sure. Acuras are pretty complex automobiles but they are really nice compared to the competitor Lexus and Infinity.
