European maps for American Spec Nav Sys on RX8

I bought a new RX8 in Virginia and took it to Europe. Now my nav system doesn't have the right maps and when I went to the German Mazda dealer their maps don't work on my american spec car. Anyone know how to get the maps and reset the satellite?

you cant use european maps on this version because the video signal processed by american tvtuner in the car is NTSC where as europe uses PAL signal. u need a new tv tuner from Europe. and yah if u dont know where the stock tv tuner is, it is behind the right rear seat, behind as in not in boot but u gotta remove the seat cusion n then ull see it mounted on a cross bracket.

all the above info is research amounting to 4 months. i came to know this after a LOT of hardwork, talking, exploring. ur lucky my friend .
hope this helps n u appreciate.
Cheers
