While getting out in the parking lot at a local restaurant, I was approached by a whoman who asked what kind of car it was:
ME: DeLorean
HER: DeLorean?
ME: Yep, it's a DeLorean.
HER: Who makes them?
ME: They were actually made by the DeLorean Motor Company
HER: That part of Ford?

Hahahahah, oh man that is great. I need to buy a delorean. I can only imagine the amount of times the owners hear, "OMG IS THAT THE BACK TO THE FUTURE CAR?!?!?!?!111" And I've heard people say they are unreliable after seeing back to the future becaues of the problems the car in the movie has, which are all added to add suspence. Of course the people that say this have never owned or driven a delorean and no nothing about them, they just base their opinions on a sci-fi movie.

I remember one day, I was sitting parked at a gas station that I worked at, eating something I had bought, and got hit by a Ford Focus. I was parked facing outward, (backed into a spot against the front of the building), and there was noone parked anywhere nearby. Suddenly out of the nowhere, this little yellow Focus comes bombing in at like fifty miles per hour or better, and slams into the front left fender of my 1989 Toyota Truck. The truck just kind of shuddered, but the focus went spinning off in another direction, and the guy took off. A mile or so down the road he got arrested (because I had called the police), his car had died due to overheat because the radiator was laying in the fuel station parking lot. He later claimed at the police station, and to my insurance lawyer, that the reason he had come zooming off the main road was that he had "been passed by a DeLorean and was still recovering from the shock". I just was reading through the thread and thought it was funny that someone had *jokingly*connected the two.

Alas, I don't think there would be much of the focus left after time travel, although it would be rather funny to see a Focus with a Mr. Fusion sticking out the ass end of it... rofl
