double DIN
I have a 02 Avalanche and I want to replace the stock GM HU. Is the opening considered double DIN or single?

Re: double DIN
When working with extra big holes always use the old tape measure and find something to fit it rule.
Good Luck MT

Re: double DIN
It is considered din and a half typical to use a radio install kit for single din flip out. However a double din can be used if you cut the dash up but it means the head unit must stay in the car when sold or traded and is pretty involved if you don't know what you are doing
