Re: NBA Playoffs 2007

Warriors are out. They did good, knocked out the mavs, but their emotions and size caught up to them.

Looking for the cavs to seal the deal tomorrow.

Love to see chicago vs cavs, they just need to keep beating the pistons. I do not want to see detroit again.

Now that you mentioned it, yeah I can see it. They were over confident. Next year, watch out. Now the teams are taking the Warriors seriously and looking to be the top contender. They definitely have more skills than the Clippers.

I don't know about that. We'll see. Nets are tough team to beat. The Cavs barely got away with the win in game 4. This is going to be tough, but I think Nets might pull this series to 7 games.

I can't STAND the Pistons! I've always hated that organization ever since the dirty "Bad Boy" era. I would love to see Chicago vs Cavs. Another classic match up

I dunno. They definitely had too much invested in the 3 ball which bit them in the ass once they stopped hitting. With a good rebounder to clean up they will be a handful on offense. They lack 2nd chance points cause they cant box out and grab boards after the 3 goes up. On defense, a big always helps but they need a bigger 4 that can run the floor and keep up at their game speed. Their best defense is their transition game and ability to force turnovers from teams trying to match their pace.

I dont think NJ has the energy left to force game 7. They definitely could have won game 4 but they couldn't seal the deal in the 4th. They look tired offensively and their defense was not lockdown even at full energy. The Cavs are younger, eager, and much better defensively when they play up to their potential. Maybe elimination will light a fire under them but I still doubt it will be enough to beat the King on his court

When you have experience and the fundamentals, being older is no problem. The Nets totally out played the Cavs until the 4th quarter. Well both of them were awful in the fourth. Cavs scored 13 points and Nets scored only 6 points. Nets have Vince Carter (still has the hops), Richard Jefferson , J.Kidd , Mikki Moore (outstanding defensive player and can score) and Nachbar (good perimeter shooting and 3 point scorer). With those guys mentioned, they can be too much to handle for the Cavs. Lebron is a great player but Eric Snow and Larry Hughes cannot out play J.Kidd and Vince Carter. J. Collins and Mikki Moore are doing a great job filling in the role for Nenad Kristic.Which I believe Nets would've cruised there division if he wasn't injured. Nonetheless, Nets got away with this game and now they're heading back home.

Not just the over confidence, but the stupid stuff with all the technicals. They let their emotions get carried away.

Well I was wrong about the cavs win, wasnt able to see it but hopefully they can pull out the next one.

I havent liked Detroit since the bad boys era either. They had some good players, but they just seemed dirty to me growing up. I like watching my jordan dvd's where he has to face them so many times and they have the "jordan rules" for him. That guy got knocked around playing them, damn.

Re: NBA Playoffs 2007

The Nets beatdown on the Cavs reminded me of Bulls-Pistons game 2. Everything went right for the Nets and everything went wrong for the Cavs. They looked absolutely horrible last night. Nobody but Z played very well and Nets wisely fed off that for 3 quarters. The crowd was completely out of it, I felt like I was watching a funeral. I don't think that was the Cavs last night just like I didn't think that was the Bulls that got walked on by detroit. I still fully expect the Cavs to win the series and the real Lebron to show up for tomorrows game.

Re: NBA Playoffs 2007

Bulls - 85

Pistons - 95

What can I say? I'm still proud of them. I love the standing ovation from the Bulls fans. We definitely stick by our teams side no matter what. Chicago people are great! Now moving forward, I know they have the lottery pick but does anyone know if they have the first or 2nd pick? Or what number is there pick? If we end up getting Greg Oden, that will definitely solve our inside scorer problem. I don't care how small and fast the league has got in over the past few years. We need another Shaq like player and a player to be dominate inside the paint.

I'm looking forward for the Nets to advance. I'm a huge Vince Carter and J.Kidd fan. IF all else fails, I'd have to settle for the Suns since they're my 2nd home team.

Re: NBA Playoffs 2007

I doubt we end up with greg oden. we have the knicks first round pick but since they decided to win some after all star break their chances of #1 pick are slim. #2 sn't a bad spot to be in if they can get that. We probably would draft Durant just to arrange some trade packages to get inside scoring. I just wish Ben didn't eat up so much cap so we could grab a big name... like Kevin Garnett

Re: NBA Playoffs 2007

I am SOOOO pissed at Lebron right now. Game 1 against your biggest eastern conference roadblock and you show up with 10 points... WTF!? The Cavs as a whole came to play today except lebron. I understand that if they are going to beat the pistons then the supporting cast needs to have more of a presence but tonight the supporting cast was the show and Lebron fell into the mix. He seemed satisfied to play decoy tonight which I don't understand. Is this Big Z's team now!? A golden opportunity was laying at the doorstep and in the last 52 seconds they couldn't make good on any of their three attempts to tie or lead the game. But none of those shots were taken by Lebron James

LeBron should buy all the Pistons ticket holders an "I am a witness" shirt

Re: NBA Playoffs 2007

Lebron's performance went down this season. He finally showed up for game 5. Pistons are very worried right now. The curse of #23 is haunting the Pistons once again
