Unhappy Need help with a 93 lumina that will crank but won't start

Car last started a week ago and stayed runing for a whole 10 mins and then died. I changed the fuel filter thinking that was it. it started and then stalled and then i messed with a spark plug wire and then it started right away and was running, turned it off and messed some more with the plug wire and now it won't start at all. had to have it towed to get it home. What could be wrong??

Change the spark plug wires and check the spark plugs for cracks in the porcelain. If u move a wire and something works that didnt before, 9 times out of 10 that wire needs to be repaired or replaced .

I's spray some carb cleaner into the intake if it starts you have a fuel issue then look at the fuel pressure at the rail, 37psi.

How can it be a fuel issue if the car started after he played with a spark plug wire?

Yeh and did it continue to run, the pressure could be just enough to kick and not stay running. Just basics here, got spark, got fuel pressure and will it run on carb cleaner, no other way to pin it down, you can take any path you want here to find the source of the problem ,you will wind up back looking for spark and fuel, period..

He didnt say it cut off after it started behind playing with the spark plug wire. He said he turned it off.

Max and Noc, are we helping this guy or not?

weelr666, was the plug wire you messed with in the front or rear? Did you mess with it at the plug end, or the coil pack/module end?

If it was at the coil/module end, you may have a cracked coil tower that is now dead shorted and it fried the ignition module.

IF it was at the spark plug end, you may have bumped a wiring harness plug somewhere that caused the no start.
