Question Ecm I need help 99 windstar

I need to replace my computer,but I need the numbers off my old one .Can anyone tell me where it is located? please help me .I have 99 windstar

Look in the engine compartment or under the hood for the emissions label. That should give you a "calibration" code number.

To remove the PCM, you will have to remove the entire wiper cowl to get to it. It's on the passenger side.

After you replace the PCM ... there's about a 100% chance you will discover that you did not need too afterall.

... OK, maybe "100%" is unfair .... let's say 80%.
