Stock upgrade questions
http://www2.partstrain.com/products/....html?index=13
I am looking at the Volant cold air intake, has anyone used it or heard/read anything about it? I am not expecting the hp promise it states, but I will post the hp gain if bought. Also, has anyone had a great experience with a particular exhaust manifold, along with a performance exhaust system? I want to gain hp and torque from the bottle neck power loss on the exhaust side. I prefer if the exhaust is not loud, it is not the effect I am craving. Just looking for pure performance upgrades, nothing aesthetic, please no big exhaust tips. Appreciate all feedback. |

Re: Stock upgrade questions
Go with the AEM intake...
http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx...m_intake.shtml For an exhaust, just get the 2nd gen ACR/RT muffler. It has dual tips and looks very nice.

Re: Stock upgrade questions
You think the AEM is better than the Volant CAI? I do not want a dual exhaust, just something that won't be to much $$ and will help with some additional hp.

Re: Stock upgrade questions
The majority of 2nd gen owners I know, get the AEM intake.
