nipples broken in calipers H E L P
So I have a 96 Taurus LX, i was going to bleed the brakes. And both my rear nipples broke in the calipers. Now instead of going to the junkyard and replacing my calipers, could I remove the nipples??
Is there a special tool for broken bolts? I heated the niples and still no avail, still broke. Let me know, thanks |

Re: nipples broken in calipers H E L P
99% of the time a bleeder breaks, you will end up replacing the caliper.

Re: nipples broken in calipers H E L P
How to fix this problem the easy way, I went to the scarp yard and got 2 rear calipers for $50
![]() I came to this conclusion because my bit extractor broke in the nipple hole, so that's the way I fixed the problem. |
