1990 XJ Steering Click

Hello,

I have a 1990 XJ that had a problem with the steering gear. I replaced the sector and now the steering system seems to steer better, but there is a very faint clicking at one certain point. it seems to be coming from something on the drivers side. Also when it clicks you can feel a vibration under your foot on the floor. I have been told that it could be the joints in the steering shaft to the sector. If this is what the problem is, could it cause damage to my new sector? Is it something that I should get fixed right away?

Any input is appreciated. if anyone knows of anything else that could be causing it that would be great too.
