Tachonmeter
So, my cluster doesn't have RPM's and i'd like to have them, even though im in an automatic. Anyone know of a cheap alternative without buying a used cluster? Don't think my parents would be happy with that.

Or go buy a used cluster, its going to be the cheapest route.

Re: Tachonmeter
You can find aftermarkets tachs all over ebay for $50 or cheaper, but you're gonna need a tach adaptor, I believe they're around $45-$50

Re: Tachonmeter
The reason I suggest the cluster is because if he's worried about his parents caring about a swapped cluster, I doubt they'd be a big fan of a giant tach sitting on top of the same cluster.
Then again, if you're under parental rule, its probably best to just not be modifying a car.

Re: Tachonmeter
They don't care what i do it really, but if they get into the car and notice 50k missing on the mileage, they'd get pissed off.

Re: Tachonmeter
A cheap aftermarket tach and tach adaptor would be your best bet then. Doesn't have to be a big 5" one.
