SLR (in a different sort of color)

Well, I finally finished my SLR, and considering this is my first model with polishing, I'm really happy. It's some of my best work, even though the hood fit is quite iffy (I heard that's part of the kit) and I couldn't get the second hinge on the door to work properly, but I love it anyway. Here are the pictures:

As a final note, thanks to everybody who helped me out in my WIP thread. I really appreciate you all bearing with me, and helping me make this model the pride and joy of mine it is.

Great job, I really like the color. You need to cover up those licence plate holes and the wipers are missing. Other than that it looks great.

I was thinking that too, but might be too late unless there is a license plate in the kit? I have not ever opened mine as much as I should. But, I will now fill those.

Looks great, and yes, the hood plagues everyone who builds the SLR.

Re: SLR (in a different sort of color)

Thanks for all the comments. I forgot to say, I just haven't gotten around to the license plate in the back (I want the SLR plate back there, but not in the front), as well as the side indicators and the wipers. It really should be a 98% WIP, but I got lazy.

Re: SLR (in a different sort of color)

Thanks. It's a DuPont called Aquamarine Pearl. I'd recommend it to anybody. Comes in a 5oz can that you can find at any automotive supply store.
