However, since my english is "appalling" to some, then maybe I do need to "stupid it down" some for the small few who happen to have a tough time reading and comprehending anything that I write. Maybe I need to write at the level of .... oh, I don't know..... a 3rd grader? I mean, wtf is it that I write that makes it difficult to understand? Is it the fact that I have a bit of sophistication in my writing? Or is it that a few here really are at the level of 3rd grade reading and writing comprehension skills that it's hard for that few individuals to understand and comprehend phrases and words in context than someone who is.... maybe.... I don't know, a high school graduate? I may not have college writing level skills, but at least I know enough to be able to express my own opinions, ideas, etc.

Wow, now the real truth here is revealed. First off, I didn't care if someone agreed with me or not. That's your judgement. Second, maybe it's because you have selective memory, but a bit ago you called my english "appalling". Now if that's not a personal insult to someone, I don't know what is an insult in your mind. A moderator is someone who makes sure shit DOESN'T get stirred, and here you are stirring it up as much as any other here. So in a sense, you've let that little "moderator" title be your ticket to being a complete dick.

So the question now is, how come you ask how you are belittling someone when A) you've already admitted to doing it, and B) you seem to relish in it and take comfort that you started up shit that you now want to deny being a part of? In the 5+ years that I have been a member here, I can honestly say that the moderating team has been one of the best that I have seen in open forum.I've also lost count of the number of uppity newbies who bleat and wail whenever a long serving member or moderator asks them to show some respect for the unwritten rules that are blatantly obvious to anyone who takes the time to study the posts made in this forum.

For the terminally stupid, I will write down the unwritten rules.

1.This is a robust forum. We speak our minds bluntly at times.Crybabies are not welcome.

2.We communicate in English as best we can. This is an international forum, and colloquial terms, text speech and lazy English are hard to understand if English is not your first language. So, in other words, post in whatever english is proper, as long as it's english that moderators deem fit? That doesn't seem much fair, let alone unbias. If this is how moderators do their job under the so-called "guidelines", then I guess I picked the wrong spot to interact with people.

As for my whining, I think I have valid points, but someone's ego here (namely those of the aforementioned and others) seems to have motives beyond my comprehension, or maybe there's no comprehension at all involved. It's either be stupid, or be labeled as stupid when someone cannot understand simple english. Now, maybe it's because I use terms that are not easily understood. If that's the case, may I suggest something called a DICTIONARY? I mean, with the vast internet and computer users out there, you'd think a dictionary would be easy to lookup, but that'd be too much hard work as compared to say calling someone's use of terms "appalling" or giving someone shit about how they write.

Now if that's not an insult to someone rather than criticizing the reply in context, then gee, I guess I just don't fit in here. Unless it's rude, crude, and socially unacceptable, then I guess it's just not right for this forum, is it?

And in case you're wondering, I have read the guidelines, before I signed up originally a year ago, and in the past 24 hours, just to make sure I didn't miss anything. Every guideline has been either abused, broken, or otherwise VIOLATED by this "drunken monkey" who seems to take the guidelines and throw them out the window, because he and someone else who I don't know about cannot understand the terminology I use. Why it's squarely directed at me I don't know. What I do know is that if this is how newbies are treated, and forget how they write, how good their english is, whathaveyou, then this must be an "idiots only" club, where unless you write the way others do, you're considered an outcast, and deemed to be undesireable.

I've only faught back when someone made a personal insult to me PUBLICLY. Now I know two wrongs do not make a right, but I don't think a "moderator" of any sort should abuse their authority to such an extent that makes one wonder how in the hell anyone gets past their ego, much less get a post in that doesn't involve ridicule strictly for the fact that someone can't understand english in whatever way seems unfit to them.

Now, if we're done with this whole "I don't like you" and "I don't like your writing ability", "I don't like your use of English, no matter what terms you use because you're stupid", etc. I'd really like to get back to the topic at hand, but then I'm sure as this is being read, someone, somewhere is typing up a sarcastic reply, and defending that arse "drunken monkey" and whatever his/her/ITs comments were. I'm sure that, by now, someone is asking for me to be banned, simply because I defended myself, and I stand by that defense. Anyway, back to the topic. Here are my final comments. Whether you like to agree with them or not is up to you, and you alone. So. My final comments are this. Shock jocks are interesting, but seriously for a moment, if someone is going to take the time to cry "foul", then really they're just looking for an excuse to be in the media. I don't care who it is. Personally, I've never cared for shock jocks, but I've also never cared for the likes of "Rush Limbaugh" and others of his kind. To me, they're all the filth of radio. Whether any of them really made these comments or not, I cannot judge that. What I can say is that if something bothers me ON RADIO, I usually change the channel, or pop in a CD instead. I'd rather listen to MUSIC than a bunch of morons on the radio talking anyway.

First off, it's not my place to judge radio jocks, especially when they get paid the big $$$. Secondly, if I were in charge, and one of my people did something stupid, or said something stupid, I'd get to the bottom of it immediately and find out for sure if it really happened the way it has been claimed. Lastly, yeah if such an event did take place, I'd have their ass, no questions asked.

But sooner or later, someone out there will have that light bulb over their head light up real bright, and figure out what I already have. If you don't like it, you don't have to listen to it. It's really that simple.
