Which car is better in terms of look , performance , and mpg for a newbie?

Hi , I saw a Toyota Vitz RS Edition 2001 model with some notes about F-Crossmember & Inner & Core Supporet replaced. Should I still buy it? I'm a newbie I don't know anything about cars. What are those parts listed above? What are they used for? Should I check them again when I buy the car or should I replace all of them? Please help me .

Re: Should I buy this Toyota Vitz RS or Toyota Altezza?

Hi... I found a nice deal somewhere. I found a Toyota Altezza 1999 model for $4900 accident and repaired. Should I get the Altezza or should I get the Vitz RS 2001 model for $3400? It's $1500 bucks difference XD please tell me the reason also why you chose that one.
