Changing Montana struts

Hi, I've got a 2003 Montana. The strut mounts are seizing up and require replacement. Anyone done this recently? The springs look fine, any reason to replace them while I'm at it?

Re: Changing Montana struts

Struts are a PITA to replace just because of all that is required to get to the 3 nuts on the top of the tower. You have to completely remove the wiper linkage to get to them, and then it's tight. If the springs are in good condition I wouldn't replace them. Replacing the rubber is optional. Mounts/bearings usually should be replaced along with the struts themselves.
