battery problem !!

i own a 1993 trans am 5.7,but every time i leave the radio on my battery goes down quickly. I already bought a new battery and it did the same thing. Also when i am driving the car, the battery arrow keeps moving up and down. what can be the problem ???

you sure that happens only w. radio? it sounds almost like youre eithier draining power some other way.. or that your alternator is crapping out.

when you start your car, does it have a hard time starting? like it turns over slow?

Do you have an amp or anything that needs alot of juice?

I would have it load tested before throwing money around for sure. Also make sure your belt is not in need of retirement.

I agree with everyone else.
take it and have the charging system checked.
auto zone will do this for free.
