Talking Pinks - my first visit ...

I just got back from venturing over to Maple Grove Raceway.
The pits are filling up with 300 hopefuls for the Pinks exhibit.

My first impression:

1 Talon
160 Camaros
120 Mustangs
19 other domestic cars

Interesting variety to choose from

Yes, I am exaggerating the numbers, but the enlightened reader will get the gist.
If you not enlightened, please eat less I've told you a millions times that I exaggerate

I'm lost... what do you mean "no talon?"

The only sport compacts that were there, out of 375 cars, were a Talon, a Neon and a Honda (I think Accord).

Yeah, it's like that. Not very diverse crowd at all.

Atleast some battles can be interesting. The crowd at Moroso was loving the C6 v SRT-10 race we got to see.

Then quickly died again as ANOTHER 5.0 raced ANOTHER Z28.

Thats just one of the many things about the show I can't stand at all. I mean, c'mon, you can only watch so many Fox Bodies run so many late 80s/early 90's FBodies before your like...ok, new idea anyone?

I mean, its like watching procedural cop dramas. We get it, the pedophile did it...

Re: Pinks - my first visit ...

John Shepard shows up...hehe

The majority of speed channel viewers do not want to see an import beat a camaro or mustang. Remember, the Speed channel also hosts Nascar which is what keeps it afloat for the most part.
