Re: 95 s-10 problems

Does it talk back to you and let you know what is bad?
We would need a little more info to be able to help.
Std. or auto transmission?
What engine?
What part of flywheel is breaking?

I WOULD SAY CHECK YOUR DRIVE SHAFT. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 87, AND I HAD TO REPLACE THE ENTIREDRIVE SHAFT CAUSE MINE WAS BENT A LITTLE TOO MUCH. IF YOU CAN, GET IT ON A TREADMILL AND HAVE SOMEBODY ACCELERATE IT AND SEE IF THE DRIVE SHAFT IS BENT. IT COULD ALSO BE THE BEARINGS, AND/OR THE UJOINTS FREEXING UP. LIKE MY GRANPAPPY SAYS, IF YOU JUST FIXED IT RIGHT, AND IT STILL DOES IT, CHECK A LITTLE FURTHER DOWN THE ROAD. ALSO CHEK YOUR HARMONIC BALANCER. MAKE SURE YOU GOT ENOUGH FLUID IN IT.

First thing use a GM dealer OEM flywheel.
Mach the year of the engine build with the same year flywheel.
Proper torque on flywheel bolts.
Check for excessive crankshaft end play.
Make sure transmission is bolted up good and tight and the dial pins are installed good and transmission dial pin holes are good.
Check for any engine vibration.
If that all checks out the flywheel should stay in there.
Good Luck And.
Let us know how it goes.
