2000 front power lock actuator

i need to replace the lock actuator in my 2000 astro awd. the service manual seems to suggest that the new actuator should be riveted in (after drilling out the old rivets); can i use bolts and locknuts, or will these come loose? anyone with any other tips for this job? thanks.

Re: 2000 front power lock actuator

1/4" x 20 x 3/4" stainless steel bolts and stainless steel nylon insert nuts work very well, and won't rust.
