Re: Thinking Of Buying Agp Wastegate....

Overall yes because then you can control your boost...but it really needs supporting mods to get any worth out of it. You will also be able to enjoy ptb(aka partial throttle boosting)...where you barely tap the gas and you hit 10+psi causing you to knock and etc. The only way to control is it use a dual stage bc like myself...set a low and hi boost setting.

Re: Thinking Of Buying Agp Wastegate....

That would be pointless; having a manual boost controller with an adjustable wga... You can adjust the boost with the wga so what would the boost controller be doing? The only boost controller on an adjustable would be an electronic; like I have...So you can ride around with low boost on a low wga setting and then set a hi boost for those times you want to make a pull.

Yes that would work. I would personally run something like the profec b spec 2 or the evcIII

Re: Thinking Of Buying Agp Wastegate....

I have a ptp wga 17 spike 15 hold and car runs GREAT totally worth the 70 bucks I spent on it. You just need to remove your vac lines. Take off the white one(05 don't remove this one) the red one, and the green one, leave the blue and pink alone. Run a hose from the nipple where the green one was on the turbo straight to the nipple on the wga. I have this setup with very min ptb and the car pulls so hard. It has that fealing back like the first time I drove it. If you have any more quesitons I will send you a pm with my email.

Re: Thinking Of Buying Agp Wastegate....

It would be more beneficial to just complete delete all(most) vaccum lines. Put one from the wg to the back of the turbo, one from the intake man. to the brake booster splitting off to the surge valve or bov and the one from the bottom of the turbo t-ing in with that intake manifold line. 03-04 also remove tip sensor lines...05 keep these lines.
