olds 88 1994

i have an olds 88 1994 3.8 v6 and i would like to know the average mpg for this car please thank you

Welcome to AF. Air temps, driving conditions, altitude, state of tune, overall car condition are all variables here. 18-28 is the usual range in good shape.

All depends on how you drive it. If I drive mine hard, it'll get about 17mpg, if I take it easy, 25mpg isnt out of the question. Sometimes I can get up to 30mpg on the freeway.

First Look at the RPO tag on your spare tire cover and see if you have the F17 2.84 axle ratio or the FW2 3.06 Axle ratio..

Good difference in mileage here..

Gennerally a 94 should have an 19 city rating and a 28 Hwy rating.. Most people will do 18-22 in town and 28-32 on the open road..

How many miles are on this car, and when was the last time it was tuned up, oil change, air filter and the like?
