Re: Cleaned VW Golf MK3 Gti

before you paint it, you should put some fender flares on. not big, just small and basic. it looks good, can't wait for more progress.

Re: Cleaned VW Golf MK3 Gti

Last week I painted the body in Racing White... Again strange spots came vissable at the thrunk.

So I puttied again and this time I used Tamiya putty. Now it's really clean! And I hope to paint it again next saturday

I also made a badgeless grille, and painted it flat black. Also the vr6 lip is painted flat black.

Re: Cleaned VW Golf MK3 Gti

Yesterday I painted the body in Racing White (tamiya)

I forgot to remove the grille but after the paintjob it made me think. Leave the bodycolour on it or paint it again but this time in flat back????

What do you like?

I really like this colour on the Golf and with the wheels etc.

Re: Cleaned VW Golf MK3 Gti

If you keep the VR6 lip in black I would also paint the grill black, to keep a kind of harmony. Just my

Re: Cleaned VW Golf MK3 Gti

I say go with a white VR6 lip and a white grille. I love it either way.

Re: Cleaned VW Golf MK3 Gti

Finally I got a new update

I started with the interior. Kept it basic in black and the other colour is Duck Egg Blue. I only added a sport steeringwheel.
It's not finished as you can see, I'll add some interiorflocks in it and maybe some speakers etc.

I also painted the windowtrims on the body and polished it a few times:

Re: Cleaned VW Golf MK3 Gti

Thanks for feedback!

I finished the interior few days ago. I added some interiorflocks and mounted all the interiorparts.

I think it looks great with the cleaned body....
