2000 JGC Limited code P0888 and P0750

anybody have experience with these codes(P0888 and P0750)? I took it to a cottman transmission, and they are stumped. Am waiting for them to tell me that it needs a new tranny. Transmission is in limp mode until car warms up. then if you slowly slide it into Drive it will shift correctly. could this be wiring? Or is it the computer? if the computer is bad how much to fix it? any help would be great. Thanks

P0750:
Shift Solenoid circuit.
"When transmission is in limp mode the relay that provides power to the solenoid group is switched off. This is normal and is designed to provide operation in one gear only."

I can't find code P0888 - you may want to recheck that.

P0888 is the ATC controle module, but it seems that no transmission shops seem to know that. Cottmans said they cant help me, so now i gotta take it to the dealership and hope they dont come up with $5000 worth of repairs to line their big pockets with. I think the car computer might be the problem any ideas?
