Cool moped vs minivan and hatch back

Cliche opening(except moped part)-I was driving home from work on my tomos moped when i get to a nice downhill strech about 1/4 mile long. I hunch down to minimize wind resistance and I pass a minivan in the other lane doing 30-35(i was doing 40-45 cant tell my top speed cuz the speedo stops at forty). Later on i come around a curve and pass a hatchback. Now i realize these don't really count since the people coulda easily smoked me but they were the first cars i ever passed on my moped so now i can count 2 "wins" but like 50,000 losses since everyone wants to pass me. But they cant really laugh since i get 100+ miles to the gallon.

Re: moped vs minivan and hatch back

Honestly, I respect you so much more now!
How many guys would seriously put a post like this out there?
This man has a set!

Whats funny is all the posser ass 16 year olds that come on here are like "My daddy is buying me a new Shelby GT500 and like, what are good mods?"
or they say stupid shit like" Im 16 and Im so good at highway racing in traffic, I wanna school you all on how to do it!"

But not you sir, your not possing at all, your straight up and honest and I respect that.
We always tell the noobs to start out low, get a nice reliable ride to learn on and move up. looks like your doing just that. Be safe and good race.

Re: moped vs minivan and hatch back

HA! Funny that you did that on a moped. I dont know if I would have the guts to push one of thoes things that fast expecially down an unforgiving hill.

I have to give you props for driving one though and your right about that 100 miles to the gallon!

Re: moped vs minivan and hatch back

put nos on that thing, that would be funny!

Oh that reminds me, there was this girl at my old highschool who was in an electric wheelchair and I always wondered how that thing would move if someone slapped nitrous on it

It would move in a crazy zig-zag pattern because she would quickly figure out that it wont work on an electric motor, so what else is nitrous good for you ask? She would be breathing it in and crossing traffic all dizzy....needless to say it would prolly be the death of her

Good race BTW AMG, what size moped?

My cousin has a old honda C70 and me and my dad fixed it up for him and i took it for a test run and i had it going 55 down a hill. It accelerated so slow though with that 3 speed semi-auto tranny, or maybe because i just had got done riding my klx300 lol. If i were yo i would just ride the 50 until it dies and depending how long that is, you could make your decision from there.
