1992 delta 88 starts hard

replaced crank sensor now the car starts hard . cranks over and must touch gas pedal slightly to get it to start.

at first the car would run and start fine . I would be driving and the car would just quit . tracked the problem to the crank sensor witch i changed and the car runs good, but it doesnt start at the turn of the key like it did before I changed the sensor. It may just be out of adjustment but the directions were very poor on how to do so.

I would check for fuel in the fuel press. reg hose, I would check fuel pressure during the start event also, for starters.
