Re: Ferrari Grp Build 599 (Fujimi)

The Revell's pentagrams work out at 18" front, 19" rear, so one inch too small all round. Looks to me that the only decent choice for either model is the fuji's pentagram wheels - they do look good!

Gamerxz: so which ones are you planning on putting on?

Anyone: are there any 20" challenge rims available aftermarket? I have not found any! I have some 19" on order from SAS and I am hoping they will look OK. Otherwise I may have to buy the Fujimi just for the pentagram rims!

I think for me ... ill only decide which rims when i finish with everything. I still dunno if ill put the challenge rims cause it does look smaller and look abit out of place. BUT BUT! the longer i look at it with the challenge rims the more i like it. The ones in the picture are from the F430 .

If you want the F430 rims to be 20's, wrap some .020" styrene around the rims, paint the rims silver, stretch the tires over, and voila.

Re: Ferrari Grp Build 599 (Fujimi)

Nice!, good work, and fast!
I like this car, I also oredered the challenge wheels, but didn't realized about the size difference, and now that I see it, I think that I like the pentagram wheels

I see that the body is white and it looks glossy, is that the final color?

If it is, what did you do to avoid the red plastic bleeding through?

I don't know why Fujimi keeps using red plastic for bodies?!?!

Keep us posted!
