'96 3.1, roller or ball & pivot rocker arms?

How can you tell which rocker arms are there w/o pulling the valve covers? Engine code is M on the VIN. I'm trying to order intake manifold gaskets and when I punch up '96 both choices come up. Also, how do Felpro gaskets stack up against GM OEM? Any recommendations on brand to use?

Thanks

Fel-Pro makes GM's new gaskets, so they are equal. You should be able to see one of the rocker arms through the oil cap. On the side of the rocker arm, if there is a circle where it pivots, it's a roller rocker. If the rocker arm is basicaly a smooth stamped piece of metal, it's a ball and socket style.
