Want to get new rims this summer...

Ok, I have the extemely stupid looking ones on now... but I found these, cheap and look amazing... just what I was looking for...

http://www.wheelmax.com/_images/products/speed_z.gif

My car has 205/55/16 tires on it right now, we just bought them too ... but anyway, i can barely fit my hand behind the inside of the tire before it hits the suspension, so what size tire would I need for those in order to keep it the same size? I dont want to go any smaller but any bigger and they would rub. The new tires we put on were the same size but were actually a little bit narrower (which is a good thing because there were times when my tires would rub anyway).

Thanks in advance!

Re: Want to get new rims this summer...

I had some ENKEI RS6 rims with some 245/45/17. The rims actually look almost identical to the ones you want to buy. I'm selling mine if you're interested. I don't know how cheap is cheap, but mine are going for $600. Need new tires. Includes lugs and lug tool. Not in perfect shape, but still looks good.

EDIT: Actually mine are 6 spoke though.

Re: Want to get new rims this summer...

The 5 spoke rims you posted in that link are nice as hell. Is the car lowered at all? Are you even driving a DSM? You should be able to go as high as 18's with low profile tires without a problem even with a dropped car safely without rubbing.

Not plural my friend, there is only one.

DSM is what you own and drive. David gave the name for the acronym.

Re: Want to get new rims this summer...

Tires are still there. Just chopped, bald, and slightly tearing on the side. Z-rated though. They still roll. Just not in the best shape.

Not sure what the offset is. They fit the Talon, 3kgt... so whatever that is....
They're bad ass wheels. I love them, just not interested in them anymore. Light as hell also. The girl I bought them off of paid $1400 for the whole tire and wheel package.

Re: Want to get new rims this summer...

Yeah they look nice but I can't afford the 600+ tires part, i cant really afford the ones i want for another month or two yet.. I live in a small town, pretty hard to find anything for the summer over 7 dollars an hour
