BMW 99 528i sounds like a turbo prop plane
The airconditioning fan which runs by the raditaor fan literally spins out of control and sounds like a a turbo prop building up. The AC is gassed up so i am not sure whay its doing this as its intermittent, and we still havent left the ground! any ideas anyone?

Sounds like your electric cooling fan is biting the dust. It only runs when the radiator temp gets hot.
I have the same problem with my Grand Cherokee but so far it's hangin' in there. I'll put off replacing it until I have to because a new one costs $480.
