89' 735iL hydraulic fluid leak

My 89' has been steadily leaking hydraulic fluid for the past 2 months, about 1 pint total. It has also made my steering feel less like a BMW and more like my old Subaru 3D's R&P. The leak seems to be coming from the hoses attached to the resivuar and power steering gear box. Is there a website that has information of the replacement parts and how to or would the Bentley service manual have it in it? Any other suggestions would be grateful.
Thanks.

Re: 89' 735iL hydraulic fluid leak

not sure about the bentley manual, but it might have it in there.

What you want to make sure of is if you don't have the LAD rear suspension, that the LAD isn't leaking. The struts are the most expensive. If it is leaking, you might want to buy a LAD elimination kit because new LAD struts cost upwards of $600+.

If you don't have the LAD, then that's probably best. What you are looking for are wet hoses. As far as you can feel, touch the hoses everywhere they go. (You've probably done that already.)

Go do http://www.bmwfans.info and click on original parts, then enter the last seven digits of your VIN number and click on Group 32 - STEERING. In there it will show you all the diagrams and OE part numbers you will need.

Don't know of how much use this is to you and your situation, but have a read anyhow...
