Opinions on 2006 (new) Maxima 3.5 SE Price Quote
I am looking at a silver 2006 Maxima 3.5 SE that is still sitting as "new" at the local Nissan dealership. This is their last remaining '06 Maxima and only has 100 miles on the odometer. It's pretty much fully-loaded and stickered at $33,195. I was told by a salesperson that they would make me "a great deal" on it and knock it down $4,000-$5,000. This would take the sale price down to approx $28,195.
My question is this...given the fact that the 2008's will be coming out in 4-5 months or so, it this a good price? or should I expect them to be able to lower their pricing even more? My initial reaction to this price quote was that it was still a little high, but I'm definitely not an expert. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and opinions. |

Re: Opinions on 2006 (new) Maxima 3.5 SE Price Quote
After looking at the NADA for your area I would say that you should be able to go even lower then that! Click this link to view it.
NADA LISTING At this time NADA only values this car new for $27,900 MSRP. If you ask me, that is the starting point for the vehicle you are buying and talk them down from there. This price will put you over 5k off the sticker price which is good and you should be able to get it for around 26500. When a dealer has had a car that long they will do just about anything to sell it. Like the saleman said, they would knock off 4-5 grand right away.
