Thumbs up 98 Mercury Mountaineer

Just wondering if anyone out there might have a full owners manual package for a 1998 Mountaineer.I just got one and I love it but I do not know what it is but for some reason the dealers seem to take this kind of thing out of the vehicle.I got this one on E bay and it is a one owner from Princeton,N.J. and it is original paint and a straight as an arrow.I had it emission tested which is a very involved thing in Ontario and it passed with flying colours and all it needed for the safety check that we do up here in Canada is one license lamp bulb.
Regards
Jim

Re: 98 Mercury Mountaineer

You can download one from https://www.fleet.ford.com/ (click on the Maintenance tab and select Owner's Manual). If you want the actual copy that would have been supplied with the vehicle, monitor eBay or purchase one from the dealer.

I don't think it's the dealers keeping them, but rather the previous owners. Some people choose to remember the vehicles they've owned through the owner's manuals rather than through pictures.
