98 civic brake rotors

What's the difference between rotors for the same car with and without antilock brakes?

Re: 98 civic brake rotors

just out of curiousity why are you wondering about the difference? ABS has a clear advatage over non-abs. but in anycase, I believe there is not difference in the rotors. ABS to my knowledge is a system that works with the calipers and the braking system in general but not with the rotors. but don't quote me on it.

Re: 98 civic brake rotors

I wasn't sure because I went to get rotors for the car and they said they had different rotors for one with abs and one without. It's not my car so I wasn't sure, but I just drove it today and locked the wheels down so apparently it is not abs so I got those rotors. I didn't think there would be any difference either.
