help on what what to upgrade?

Ive got a 99 civic si and was curious as to what upgrades to purchase thats going to give me the most horsepower other than a turbo? Also i dont want to go internally just yet.

So without going turbo, does that mean no forced induction at all such as turbo, supercharger, nitrous oxide. Are all those out of the question for you? Are you just looking for basic bang-for-the-buc bolt ons? What HP gains are you looking for? What is your budget? Answer me these questions and I can put something together for you.

well right now i have short ram cold air intake, and a header.I cant afford a turbo just yet but woul like to gain as much HP as possible without going internally cause i dont think i have the money for that either just yet. Would it be safe to get nos with the stock engine? Ive got about 2 grand canadian to spend.

1) Find a larger throttle body
2) Upgrade your ignition (MSK maybe)
-the throttle body would be a cheaper route with only smaller gains and a little broader power band...but when added with everything else that's done, it'll help the turbo (which I'm sure will come eventually) breathe a little easier

I wouldnt touch it anymore than routine maintenance. Save up for boost.
