Re: improve headlamps ?
I've been looking for quite sometime for a headlight upgrade, Kevinsofffroad.com has one. but I found a HID upgrade kit on ebay, It's a real HID kit and it is a dramatic upgrade from any standard bulb you will find, I also got crystal clear headlight lenses to go with it. got it off ebay, I paid about $380 for the HID kit and $140 for the lenses. They have much cheaper kits on ebay for around $100.
I got the 20,000K kit, which is a bright blue light, they have different heat ranges which are different colors. I was reading up on them and it was recomended to use a 6,000K or 10,000K HID kit for best look. I will admit the light I got are pretty blue but they light up the streets like no other lights I have ever seen, all the street marking and signs just light up for blocks and blocks. the kit I got is only a LO BEAM kit (single filament) so it would not pass my state inspection but that was not big deal I just swapped out the bulbs for the inspection, they do make HI/LO beam kit, but I did not know this til after getting my kit, but with these light the have a great lighting pattern you don't need HI beam, belive me they are wirth the money.
