Which type of ignition? HEI or separate coil? Separate coil you run your tach wire off the positive side of the coil, not sure about hei.

I am NOT a fan of autozone,,,,but,,,,,,
if you go to autozone.com, and then to the repair guides, you can get complete wiring diagrams for just about any application. Hope it helps!
