92 Toyota Corolla just stopped driving

Manual. Was driving down highway. Just lost power. Engine still runs fine. Feels like I can shift into gears, but no movement. Help! thanks.

any simple way to tell if clutch? how hard to fix by self?

sounds like clutch indeed
front wheel drive is more of a pain in the rear
time consuming to do but for the beginner....not a very good experience
if no car savvy...i'd get a garage to do it

ah, but i have a great friend, who's father in law who is a toyota mechanic and has a full garage at home....and I have done timing belts and other such work on a bmw....and dang....figured it was the clutch too.......

is there any sound when you depress the clutch
no whining or nothing

it really sounds like the friction plate is worn to the point of totall slippage
any smell of asbestos or signs of slipping before it just quit?

Alternately, I'd check the CV Joints/Axles/Half-shafts.
