1984 B2000 Gas tank size?

Hi Folks,

We have a 1984 B2000 Short Box pickup with 120k miles on it. It runs well, tho the fuel guage is off a bit. When you fill up, it does not show full, more like 4/5th of a tank.

Then, on the low end, the fuel guage lingers on E = empty for some time.

We're trying to get a feel for how much fuel we have left.

Would anyone know how big a stock fuel tank on a B2000 is? Any idea, if there's a way to fix our fuel guage, to show all the way full when filled? It's not the big problem, we'd just like it to be as accurate as possible.
