An SLR of a different hue

Just a quick pic of my tamiya SLR in paint, I devised the rig from sprue and kebab skewers to hold all the body panels at once as in my experience the chances of getting a matched colour when doing individual parts is nill, this way I could do them all at once, it has been cleared but the flash has reduced the effect. Now the paint, before you ask, its a custom mix of Ford Acid rush, Vauxhall Star silver and Mercedes Blue, all just bits left over and sloshed together and believe it or not it was more or less the colour I was wanting. The apparent mark on the roof just behind the screen isnt actually there its a trick of the flash, more to come.

That color fits it perfectly! Nice job. Love your attachment "mechanism" for holding the parts. A must have for this car.

Holy cow! What a crazy contraption you got there! And it gets the job done! I'm totally stealing that design, lol.

I love the color; great job!
