No accerleration and hissing noise.

My 1994 SW2 developed a hissing sort of noise coming from the engine. It does fine on low speed accerlerations but today when i took it on the highway it wouldn't go above 65 on flat parts and i had to floor it to get 50 uphill. Does anyone know what this could be from. I'm flat broke from other repairs i had to do and now im just praying its nothing expensive but i know the gods of kick me in the nuts aren't that nice.

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check all the hoses on the intake and see if they have any soft spots that may have cracked or disconnected.

Check your wires. Make sure these are not loose at the plug end and the coil end. Please post progress.
