problem with speedometer and code 17
After swaping the speedo and vss. I started to get code 17. Soon i found out that the ecus vss pind vas not connected. If connected to the wire that goes from the vss to the cluster the code goes away but the speedo stop working
......are there 2 pins on the ecu for the vss? or the PM7 ecu does not have the vss option?

Re: problem with speedometer and code 17
You'll get a code 17 in OBD0 ecu if you remove speedo drive cable from tranny. I'm not sure how to help. Sorry.
