Help My Rad fans will not come-on

Strange my Rad Fans will not come on and cool the rad my engine temp is getting close to the very Hot range when in stop and go traffic. But when I turn on the A/C the fans do come on. So I know the fans are ok and the rad cools fine. There must be an engine temp sensor that is shot. I have a 99 Intrigue with a 3.8 engine. Question 1 where is the coolant engine temp sensor?

I teplaced the engine coolant sensor that was a real paine almost impossible to get at. I hope this fixes the fans. I will keep you posted If any one has any thoughts let's hear them. Note this is not Iran

Fixed Fixed. It was the fluid Temp sensor. Boy oh boy not one response

Looks like you really didn't need one, you answered your own questions and fixed it, no one could diagnose this without being on site to do what you wound up doing.

Call me lucky I was looking for a second opion, It was a bitch removing and installing that dam sensor

I think my temp sensor has been out for a long, long time now. I take the lazy way out and just keep the AC system on all year long.
