Legacy Transmission Trouble

Hello peoples,

Auto troubles... oh, for a manual!

1. I've got a '91 Legacy GT auto which doesn't like changing from 1st to 2nd under moderate to heavy acceleration, it'll just sit there reving until I ease off the throttle a bit.

2. In 3rd gear the engine surges while decelerating. Done this since I bought it a couple of years ago, not a biggie though.

3. Strange problem that slowly crept in. I turn to the right and its as if a clutch was engaged.. the revs shoot up and no power to the wheels, then as I straighten up, drive is engaged again. Doesn't happen to the left though.

Any ideas here, maybe interellated, maybe not. The previous owner had the transmission rebuilt twice a couple of years back, spent thousands.
