Won't start after engine swap

I am not able to get my 1996 SL2 to start. I dropped in a 1998 SL2 DOHC into the car replacing the 1996 DOHC. After getting everythign swapped out, it is not starting. The car is turning over, but will not start. Car is getting fuel, and the wires are sparking. Any idea on what this could be? If you do an engine swap for a another year, does the computer need to be reset? The 1996 DOHC and the 1998 DOHC are identical engines. I don't see what could be causing the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Won't start after engine swap

check the two connections on the back of the throttle body and make sure there right. And if thats not the problem then check your gasket on the intake.

Fuel... Spark... Compression...

Guarantee those in order...

Spark plugs are firing in order? 1234..... 4123...

Make sure your connections and grounds are in order.
