?

OK...my tach is an autometer 5 inch monster tach that reads to 10,000 RPM`s.....and it only has 4 wires coming out of the back ....a red , white, black, and green....no swithces...no pills. And as off Sunday I put a performance chip in it....which I can definantly tell the change in shift points....and my car nolonger idle`s at what the tach see`s as 2,000 RPM`s. I`m down to more like 1,200. RPM`s...but still I know I should be idling at about 750 rpms. I`m starting to think that I should just send the tach in to Autometer to just get it recalibrated. The guy I bought it off of has a 89 Civic Hatch with a ZC motor swap and I think that might have set it off.

P.S. how do I get my profile to show stars and stop reading NEWBIE....that just looks weak

Im pretty sure that if you make aftermarket performance parts, like autometer, you do the best job to have accurate tach. If any tach is off its the stock one, which some people dont even have
