Re: US Airways Passengers Who Reported 'Suspicious' Imam Activity May Be Sued
It is pretty common to see a person of Muslim faith praying for happiness, health, whatever they pray for - that's a good thing.
It is also pretty common to see a terrorist praying for death and destruction to the infidels right before he blows something up. I'm sure all who criticize the US for being suspicious of these six men...you can all tell the difference between a peaceful Muslim man praying and a terrorist praying. So how about enlightening the rest of us? Yes they should be allowed to pray without being harrassed, but common sense will tell an intelligent person that this type of activity will arouse suspicion in a time of war. I am an American of Japanese descent - if I were alive during WWII I wouldn't have gone to an airport wearing a kimono and declaring Buddist faith unless I were trying to create a confrontation with someone or get my ass kicked...common sense man. |

As I am to believe from what I see in the news, if they were going to be blowing something up, they cry "allahu akba" right before they do the blowing up. Prayimng in full view is a little bit different from crying out the call. Quote:
wait a minute...... anyway. a designated non-denomination prayer/meditation room (or even rooms) sounds like a good idea to me. considering how airports are designed, it wouldn't take a lot of work or even money to partition off two 4mX5m rooms off somewhere. At the very least, there'd no longer be an "excuse" for praying where people might be unsuer of what you were doing.

LOL and the Muslims complain about being hassled! At least they weren't "relocated" and had all of their properties/possesions taken away. Actually my parents were born/raised in Hawaii, where internment did not take place because 80% of the population in Hawaii at that time was Japanese. |
