heating problem

well yeah when ever i go high speeds or accelerate fast in my civic my coolant gets hot and boils out. my temp gauge goes up sometimes and then back down when it cools off and my heat goes from warm to cold and then back to warm as i slow down so what is going on. is it my radiator or is it something else? help me out

Make sure your radiator is full when the car is cool. If it's full run the engine to see if the fans come on. If they don't reply back. Don't be suprised when your having a head gasket replaced. You should NEVER let your engine get hot enough where the coolant boils out .
